Be still my heart!!!!! Jonah and McKenna had the most beautiful Christmas themed wedding ever! The colors, the weather, the tear-filled first look as she walked down the aisle, the gorgeous golden light….phew!! From Charleston to Georgia, photographing this sweet couple has always been a pleasure and I can’t wait to see how their love story flourishes as HUSBAND AND WIFE!!!! ❤️

“Let all that you do be done in love.” -1 Corinthians 16:14 | As I was trying to type up a caption for this beautiful wedding….all I could think about was the word “love”. Julianna and Trey’s wedding day was OVERFLOWING with it. I heard that word squealed from the bridesmaids when they saw how beautiful Julianna looked in her dress, I saw it on Trey’s face when he teared up while watching her walk down the aisle, I felt it when everyone prayed over the sweet couple before their first kiss, and I saw it even more when we got to the reception where all of the guests got to embrace Julianna and Trey with the warmest hugs/smiles. Love truly surrounds these two and it was an honor being apart of their beautiful day.

Oh my gosh y’all!!!! Absolutely loved photographing this STUNNING wedding with Holly and Andrew! They partied their butts off and I’m not gonna lie - I totally did too!!! These two were so much fun to work with and we seriously were so blessed with how everything turned out! From their intricately beautiful details, to them booking the coolest hidden away venue I think I’ve ever photographed at in the city, to the PERFECT weather we had the whole day, allllll the way to the end where everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) was dancing on the dance floor - I would say this day was nothing short of AMAZING.

As a photographer - you’d think our worst nightmare is when the forecast says it’s supposed to rain ALL day but in reality…..it’s actually one of my favorite things! Now don’t get me wrong, I love when my wedding days are filled with sunshine and the prettiest sunset colors for couple portraits BUT there is just something about the sound of rainfall and seeing water reflections everywhere we walk that just brings such peace to my heart. I’ve always heard it’s good luck when it rains on a wedding day and I will ALWAYS stand by that. During Andrew and Kelsey’s vow renewal, rain and cloudy skies filled the air but that never took away the joyful glow everyone had on their faces while celebrating and dancing the night away. ❤️

Gosh what a SWEET couple - Katelyn and Jaron!!!! After planning their wedding with them for two WHOLE years (pre-pandemic, it’s been that long), it felt AMAZING finally getting to celebrate their love story alongside their closest friends and family! 💕 I just can’t get over how bright, colorful, and beautiful their wedding day was!

Oh how I love my sweet Kira!!!! I have known this girl over 8+ years and I can still remember the day she told me I was gonna be her wedding photographer someday! At the time, she hadn't met her husband just yet (and I also was only a freshman in high school just starting my business) but she knew I was going to be apart of her day somehow - and that I was, yesterday!!! To know her is to love her, y'all. Their day was absolutely stunning and I just can’t get over these photos - AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just the best.

Phew, what a Jesus-filled wedding day this was!!! Katelyn and Kyle said their “I Do’s” in front of their closest family and friends at Vintage Oaks Farm, on the prettiest summer day in June. It was truly an honor to be their photographer and I can’t wait for you guys to see this sweet, sweet blog post. Definitely one of my favorites!!!

From their handshake down the aisle to their joy-filled smiles after realizing they were finally married - Mary and Bradley were blessed with absolutely perfect weather and an amazingly beautiful wedding day. So thankful I got to be apart of it all!

This past weekend with Lauren and Cole in Greenville, South Carolina as they said their "I Do's" infront of their closest friends and family was truly INCREDIBLE!!!! I could not stop fawning over their details and how everything turned out to be SO beautiful! From their sweet first look, to their candlelit Christmas themed ceremony/reception, to their super fun bridal party, to their snow-filled exit - I couldn't have asked for a better wedding to end my 2020 wedding season with! I'm second shooting an elopement this upcoming weekend but other than that, my 2020 WEDDING YEAR IS DONE! This year wasn't easy on any of us but I'm so thankful for all my clients who asked me to be apart of all their special moments and memories during this crazy time! An honor and a blessing, for sure.
