Read MoreYesterday's engagement session was....😍❤⛑🔥🚨🚒🔥😍❤ We have been wanting to do this type of photoshoot for the longest time now and I'm SO GLAD we finally got the chance to do it!!! Everything was absolutely perfect, including the part where all of Justin's groomsmen/coworkers washed off the trucks for us so they would be squeaky clean for the photos + them making Jessica and Justin crack up everytime they'd pose for me. It's a tad bit different having a full audience of firefighters watching you photograph a couple but man was it a HOOT. 😂 These two are so much fun to photograph and I know this session meant a lot to them so of course I was up for the job! ❤ | A lot of my 2019 brides are engaged to firefighters, EMT'S, police officers, and active military members so I'm totally loving the fact I get to be apart of such beautiful stories.
Read MoreI had my first wedding of the 2019 season a few weeks ago AND it was at THE FOX THEATRE!!!! Like.....WHAT? Talk about starting off the year with a bang! 😭🎉 I was so honored to be able to photograph Leslie and Sean as they came together with close friends and family to celebrate their beautiful love story!!! ❤ It was truly a day to remember and my legs felt like jello because I climbed 16 floors of stairs along with 6,000+ steps throughout the evening (thanks to my watch for telling me) but it was so worth it for these two. I'd walk *cue song* a thousand miles....if I got to photograph love stories like theirs everyday! 😉🤷♀️

New York City does NOT disappoint when it comes to backdrops for sessions - goodness gracious. My jaw completely dropped when I saw these spots!!!!! Even with the fierce gusts of wind and low temperatures of 11°, these two took it like champs and posed anyway! 🌆

I've been looking forward to this day since last September when I photographed their surprise proposal and to say I didn't cry like I was apart of the family the whole day......would be a lie. Over the past year I have grown so close to this couple due to wedding planning, phone calls, group texts, and emails so when it came down to the actual wedding day - I felt so much joy in my heart, like all the family members and guests did! Everything about their day was perfect and I am so blessed they let me drive up to Virginia to be their photographer again but this time...with a little wedding twist 😉!!!
