Photographing a childhood friend’s wedding day??? Easily one of my top 5 favorite things about my job, that’s for sure!!! Kelly and her family welcomed me with open arms and big hugs the second I arrived at the rehearsal dinner on Thursday evening and from that second on - it truly was just the best time ever being apart of so many special moments for them during her stunning Alexandria Virginia wedding weekend!! Feeling so blessed and thankful!! (P.s. did I watch National Treasure 2 on the plane ride up there because I wanted to watch the Mt. Vernon scene before I went to Mt. Vernon myself? Yes. Yes I did. And it was FANTASTICALLY perfect.)
